Rescue Waggin' Wednesday, December 01, 2010 HST is proud to become a part of the PetSmart Charities Rescue Waggin. Rescue Waggin is a transport that takes animals from areas of high pet population to areas of low pet population with a high demand for pets. We are looking for homes that are willing to foster dogs that are approved for the Rescue Waggin until the transport arrives in order to increase the number of dogs we can send and find homes for. We will provide all the essentials necessary for the dogs while they are in the foster home. Rescue Waggin typically comes once a month so we would ask that the dogs stay in the home for approximately 2-3 weeks per transport. The dog would need to be brought back to the shelter the day before the Waggin arrives and we would let you know what the exact date is when you come to pick up your foster dog.
